Eligibility
As Members, we can only accept independent group leaders and W1 / W1 tenure-tracked assistant professors (German: Junior-Professors) from the Goethe University, with a self-funded own position for at least 5 years recently obtained through a highly-competitive procedure, such as an ERC starting grant, ERC consolidator grant, Emmy Noether-Programm, Freigeist-Fellowship, Heisenberg-Programm or similar.
Required documents
- CV with list of publications and conference participation
- Letter indicating how the grant would be used (one-page outline)
- Proof of the financial resources awarded
- Statement from the hosting faculty confirming the payment of a faculty contribution during the entire membership time period
Evaluation and Selection
The applicant will be invited for an interview. The final approval of the membership depends on the hosting faculty’s agreement to the faculty contribution, as described in the section “Support line for Members”.
Because there is only a limited budget available each year for “Science funding”, we are not able to grant more than three Members per year from experimental fields.
